This colorful quilt consists of 8 colors offset with black. Different designs appear depending on how you look at it.
It is paper-pieced and machine quilted. The quilting in the colors is a shield with thread matching the color.  The black squares are quilted in a flower design with the side triangles a half flower.  The border is quilted in a clam shell patten.  All of the black fabric uses a variegated color thread.
There are 24 small center points in the quilt, pulling all  the colors together.
The back fabric is blue butterflies and circles on a white background.
Cotton fabric make up the front and back. Cotton batting also used in the batting. The quilt has been pre-washed.
This exciting quilt is a "61 x 61" quilt.
